Dietetic Internship Rotations Update!
I’m in the middle of my third rotation as a dietetic intern. So far I got to write about vitamins and minerals for Bone, Brain and Immune Health and Selecting Supplements; perform a research rotation doing all kinds of cool nutrition relevant lab assays; and now I am doing a community rotation working the OSU Extension Services.

I Have Mixed Drinks About Feelings
There’s something special about sipping a glass of wine while watching the Pacific Ocean waves crash against the rocks of the shore. I just wrapped up my term and hit a wall of exhaustion, skipping my usual workouts, 15,000 daily steps, and mobility work. Instead, I enjoyed binge-watching TV and brainstorming for ‘a is for avocados,’ reminding myself that it’s okay to rest.
I treated myself to a solo lunch with a glass of wine, soaking in the beauty of this place I’ve called home for the last 15 years. This week’s blog isn’t about nutrition tips but about enjoying a well-earned break. While I don’t drink much at home, preferring to support my athletic goals, there’s nothing like a good glass of chardonnay by the ocean.
